If you backed up your data using iTunes before doing a factory reset or wiping your device, you should be able to restore from that backup and get your data back.

If you didn't make a backup, you won't be able to get your data back.

No, if you didn't make any backup. Yes, if you made a backup using iTunes.

App won't launch

1. Wait a few minutes before trying again
2. Check if you're behind a firewall

Game keeps reloading

Try these steps:

1. Back up your device to iCloud
2. Restore from iCloud

How do I get promoted to TKM?

Complete all the season objectives

What do I need to get promoted from TKM?

Get into the promotion zone (by earning enough points) and complete all compulsory season objectives before the season ends

How do I get more Social?

Main factors:
1. Facebook friends obviously helps however only in so far as...
2. Beating rivals asynchronously
3. Beating rivals head to head (this gives lots of points)
4. Using replays and live broadcasting to Facebook/YouTube/Mobcrush etc.
5. High general levels of play and therefore high engagement with other players.

There are some more more subtle things, but overall they're the main ones

I have a fast internet connection but I'm being told my connection is poor

Your connection can be slowed by the following factors:

• Too many devices connected to your Wi-Fi router
• You're streaming or downloading media
• Your router needs a restart (routers can overheat)
• If you're on 4G, there's a chance you're in an area where connection isn't stable

If none of the above apply to you, it's possible you're too far from any of our multiplayer game servers:

If you're being told your connection is slow but you think you have a fast internet connection and you're near one of our servers, please send us a screenshot of your speed test results from your iOS device.

It would also be helpful to see your ping for the IP address of the server nearest you. An extended ping test running for at least 1 minute would be good to see relevant minimum, maximum, and average ping values. If your ping varies a lot, your connection to our server is unstable.

One useful app to measure ping is iNetTools.

Settings

How do I adjust music?

You can turn music on or off from Settings > Music:

No audio in-game

Check the following:

• Your device ringer is on
• Volume is up while you're in the app
• Music is On in the Street Kart app settings (see above screenshots)

If you've checked the above and there's still no audio, try force closing and then relaunching the app. Audio sometimes goes off when you switch between apps.

I can't see my Facebook friends as rivals

All your Rivals are listed in SKHQ > Rivals.

Please check if the missing friends are listed there.

In Leaderboards > Rivals League:

Only rivals that are in the same tier as you will be seen.

In Leaderboards > All Rivals:

You should see all your rivals, regardless of tier.

Make sure you're still signed in to Facebook for Street Kart Racing

Facebook authentication can expire after a while. Make sure you're still signed in. You should be prompted to sign in by the app if your Facebook login for Street Kart Racing has expired.

If you still can't find your Facebook friends in any Rivals list

How do I invite friends / Rivals to race?

From the Race Meet Details screen:

1. Tap the "Invite Rivals" button
2. Select rivals to invite
3. Hit "Ok"
4. Wait for your rivals to accept the invite or head straight Race Prep by tapping the blue button at the center of the header bar
5. After Race Prep, you'll either see you'll see your rivals in the line up if they've already joined. Only hit "Race Now" if everyone's joined. Those that aren't in the line up will be left behind once you tap "Race Now".

From the Rival's Profile screen:

1. Tap the steering wheel icon
2. Choose a race meet to race in
3. Either hit "Create Invite" right away just for that one Rival or hit "Invite Others" and invite more before hitting "Create Invite".
4. Wait for your rivals to accept the invite or head straight Race Prep by tapping the blue button at the center of the header bar
5. After Race Prep, you'll either see you'll see your rivals in the line up if they've already joined. Only hit "Race Now" if everyone's joined. Those that aren't in the line up will be left behind once you tap "Race Now".

How do I sign out of Facebook?

To remove Street Kart's access to your Facebook:
1. Go to Facebook web or app
2. Open "Settings"
3. Open "Apps and Websites"
4. Look for "Street Kart" in the list of apps (you can use the search bar)
5. When you select "Street Kart", there should be a "Remove App" button at the bottom
